MORE INFO ON THE NEXT PHASES COMING SOON......

Hello all..as you all have probably noticed, our speed bumps have started to show up here in Tanglewilde.  The work is weather dependent and quite honestly will probably not be completed until spring.  Please be patient and keep in mind that we are not the only job the County Roads Department has going.

As you probably remember, the speed bumps that are showing up here are considered to be Phase I of the Traffic Calming Plan for Tanglewilde.  Phase II was dependent on the County Roads Department budget and luckily for us, the County is in a position to begin talks for Phase II.  What is Phase II you ask?  It is the next step in making our neighborhood safer by identifying unsafe streets, intersections, etc.  Also, if applicable, suggest a possible remedy.  We will bring these issues to the County Roads Department and discuss possible remedies.  Some of the many options could involve traffic circles, diagonals, better signage, etc.

Also, we have had an overwhelming number of positive responses to the speed bumps and how they are reducing and slowing traffic.  I am encouraging everyone to write a quick note to our County Commissioners to tell them how happy you are with this County program.  The County Roads Department employees we are working with have a genuine interest in making our neighborhood safer.  I would like to see to it that the Commissioners are aware of this and how happy we taxpayers are with the program.  The contact info is below.

Please call or email with any suggestions for Phase II.  Thanks for your time.
